Anybody got any tips on Taipei, Taiwan?

Hello!

I was planning to go on a trip to taipei taiwan with some of my friends, was wondering if anyone could recommend any nice place to vist, shop and food to eat there as well, as we are going by back pack for 5 days.... thanks
