Cloverfield
Cloverfield is a 2008 monster/horror film produced by J. J. Abrams, directed by Matt Reeves, and written by Drew Goddard. Prior to the film's release, Paramount Pictures carried out a viral marketing campaign to promote the film. The campaign included viral tie-ins similar to the Lost Experience.[6] The film follows five young New Yorkers who throw their friend a going-away party on the same night that a gigantic monster attacks the city.

Who's seen it? Everybody's been saying how crap it is and how it's just a person holding a camera in first person for the whole movie. That's how I ended up watching Sweeney Todd =[.

Personally, if you like first person realistic movies, you would like this movie. If you expect a godzilla movie, you will be disappointed.
This movie isn't about the monster, its about a group of people trying to survive through it. This movie is a person holding a camcorder recording the events, the original tape was of one of the main characters filming New York city from one of the apartments. However, the other main character forgot to take the tape out before recording again, so he taped over it. This film was made to fit into the regular length of a camcorder tape (90 minutes). The realism is there for this film, however, u don't get to see many shots of the monster.
If you end up watching this movie, pay attetion to the bottom right of the screen near the end of the film.

this movie was ok. it was like a less scary version of blair witch. The camera gets pretty shaky...so if u get motion sickness...dont watch it. my housemate got cranky when they didn't explain exactly where that thing came from, but it didnt bother me...i prefer they not specify it so clearly. =P

Liked this movie...when I came out of the cinema, the only thing I wanted was for a Godzilla type monster to appear. Weird, he?
I liked the end less, it gave too much questions for me to ponder upon.
