Why would Xbox 360 Media Center Videos Lag/Run Slow?

My pc has some videos that I converted using videora so that I could watch them on the 360. At first everything was fine, but later on the videos started to lag and now none of them run smoothly. The audio's ahead of the video, and the video is choppy. Anyone have a similar experience?

Xbox 360 support wmv format best, the video player in 360 is not so good.
