Music Video and YouTube?

Downloading of music from an unlicenced source is illegal.

However, is playing a music video from YouTube legal? When I searched YouTube, I found a lot of songs I like. Can I just open one up and listen? Is it legal?

As for the legality, depends on the song.

For sure it's not illegal because the site admin made it public for users.

you aren't gonna get in trouble. I mean in some ways it can be illegal but over 1,000 people are on youtube at all times, you can't get in trouble for watching a video because its there.
